Dharshini Attygalle

Dharshini is a Barrister at Law, called to the Bar at Middle Temple Inns of Court, London, UK. She has lived both in the UK and Holland for over 20 years and received her school, university and post graduate education there.
She is a professional with excellent organisational and communication skills. She started her career with lecturing the Chartered Secretaries and Administrators courses and then went on to qualify and practise law.
Dharshini’s varied experience in the corporate and commercial sectors demonstrate a strategic approach and logical thinking.
Having returned to Sri Lanka a few years ago she engaged in project work both on an international basis working in the Middle East and also locally. Her intention is to be part of the current developing phase at the grass root level for a better Sri Lanka.
Three years ago Dharshini set up an Educational Consultancy offering study and career guidance to both students and mature students. This led to much interest from the Corporate sector in Sri Lanka for the psychometric and ability testing that was involved in this process.
Dharshini became certified to run the PAPI psychometric and ability tests through Cubiks Ltd, an UK company with a global presence. She now offers a wide spectrum of tests for recruitment, development, leadership training and various ability tests. As the Corporate and commercial sectors in Sri Lanka are growing the need for accurate placement and development of incoming and existing staff has become a priority and is now seen as a major asset to organisations. High performing and high potential staff need to be groomed and retained by these organisations.
Dharshini recently joined the Rotary Club of Colombo Metropolitan to further her passion and interest in helping the various projects undertaken to give back and aid the community at large.
Dharshini has two daughters Savannah and Tanja both studying for A Level and O Level exams respectively. Dharshini is delighted to be back in her home land and yet is passionate about travelling and discovering new countries, their cultures and cuisine.
Dinali Bandaranayake -Dandeniya

Dinali is a highly experienced and accomplished Learning & Development Professional with a wide and varied range of development, coaching and HR expertise.
Dinali is both passionate and enthusiastic as a corporate trainer with over 18 years experience in Life Long Learning. Dinali was born, bred and professionally educated in the UK, with working experiences from Australia, Hong Kong, Sri Lanka and UK. She specialises in a number of development courses such as Communications, Customer Service, Leadership Development, Business English, Organisational Development and Coaching for Success.
Dinali is working with a number of reputable organisations in Sri Lanka; delivering and driving organisational development and change. She is also involved in a number of employability and life skills projects for school leavers to graduates both in the UK and Sri Lanka. Her aim is to prepare the next generation with transferable employability skills to help them secure suitable employment.
Dinali is an active member of the Rotary Club of Colombo Metropolitan where she dedicates much time and effort in driving local community projects in an attempt to alleviate poverty. She is looking forward to sharing her experience and knowledge in lifting up the standards of service amongst our community.
Dinali is married to Ajith and has two daughters Shana and Tamaia. She is a joint director with her daughter Shana of the newly opened Café Kumbuk Pvt Ltd and also holds the post of Director of Life Skills for TRAc, Training and Recruitment Academy.
Leon X. Prescott

One of the select few Corporate Coaches in Sri Lanka accredited by The International Coaching Federation, USA, Leon is a Certified Professional Coach, on a path to becoming a Master Certified Coach. He received his professional training from the Corporate Coaching Academy in Kuala Lumpur, Asia’s largest professional coach training centre, headed by Dr. Michael Heah, world renowned author and Master Coach.
He is also the Managing Director of Aegis Defence Systems (Pvt) Ltd, a company incorporated in Sri Lanka to address a growing need for state of the art security systems for the Government of Sri Lanka.
Holding a degree in Psychology from the University of Bremen, Germany, Leon has knowledge encompassing a wide variety of subjects. A Master of Business Administration specialising in Marketing is yet another qualification, in addition to over 20 years of local and international business acumen in an expansive range of disciplines. Having lived in Europe for a number of years and travelling extensively throughout his career, Leon has developed a greater understanding of various cultures and their own unique perspectives.
He coaches on a variety of issues in a wide spectrum of industries. But no matter what the business is, he is quick to point out that a shift in management’s focus makes all the difference in keeping the company competitive. Michael Moonesinghe

Michael has worked in International recruitment and Human Capital Consulting since 1989. He has advised many companies on their recruitment and management development strategies. Michael was born and educated in The UK. Both his parents are Sri Lankan –although they both now live in Spain. He is married and has 2 grown up daughters.
He is absolutely passionate about delivering excellence in Customer Care and has worked with a number of companies in improving their customer service delivery and helping them to create that unique “Excellence Culture” in their businesses.
Prof. Neluka Silva

Neluka Silva is Professor in English and the Academic Director, Extension Courses in English at the University of Colombo. She was educated at the universities of Colombo, Leeds and Oxford. Her manuscript novel The Choices We Make was shortlisted for the Gratiaen Prize and is published under the title The Iron Fence (2011). It was longlisted for the Commonwealth First Book Prize 2012 and the Dublin IMPAC prize 2012. Her collection of short Stories entitled Our Neighbours and other stories is published by Vijitha Yapa Publications (2009). “Our Neighbours” was one of the 20 stories placed in the Highly Commended Winner category in the 2008 Commonwealth Short Story Competition. She is also the author of The Gendered Nation: Contemporary Writing from South Asia (Sage 2004). Her research interests include Cultural production in South Asia, Bilingualism and issues in the teaching of English in Sri Lanka. She has published academic articles in International journals and regularly presents academic papers at international conferences.
She has been involved in corporate training on a freelance basis for the last four years and has accumulated a wide and varied range of training experience. Her areas of expertise include Written and Oral Communications, Customer Service, Business English, Report Writing, Interviewer Training, Public Speaking, Corporate Etiquette and professional editing.
Neluka has worked with several reputable organisations in Sri Lanka. She is an active member of the Rotary Club of Colombo Metropolitan. She has two daughters.
